But the design has flaw in that the back-stop for holding the pencil in place is just a slippery flat plastic back-board, and the pencil is liable to slip off, and thereby slip out of the magnetic field. If there had been a small hole, groove or depression for where the pencil tip could be fixed or aligned, it would have been much better. The propeller thing is very flimsy, and could have been better. But still a fun item to get.
