Its also fairly unique because its square shaped so can be kept in the shelf corners. Can be latched closed and has a small hook for holding it when closed. Its not extremely air tight but its close enough. Not as sturdy feeling as the round shaped steel containers but this is enough. Has some blackish sealant at the base of the outside of the container as well. Probably best to wash that off before use. Inspite of above negatives, if like me you are trying to avoid plastic, this is definitely a must have.
