## Description

desertcart.com: Giant Lion Hard Off+ Hard Water Stain Remover for Shower Glass & Tile, 16oz | Tackles calcium, lime and soap scum—fast : Health & Household

Review: Probably the only thing I have found to remove water stains - I live in an area that has extremely hard water. Our windows were stained from the back splash from the sprinklers. Once I was able to fix the sprinklers I had to take care of the windows. I tried everything and nothing worked. So I thought I would try this product. It does not remove the stains right away. You have to follow the directions - let it sit for a few minutes. You may have to add a little elbow grease - but it worked and our windows look great!
Review: Good Hard Water Spray - After two days the hard water spots where not visible.

## Features

- FOR REMOVABLE HARD-WATER BUILDUP - Hard Off+ targets the chalky spots and mineral film that daily bathroom cleaners can leave behind. A focused choice for plain, uncoated shower glass with calcium, lime, rust staining and soap-scum residue.
- MADE FOR SURFACE DEPOSITS - Hard Off+ is designed to lift removable mineral buildup from the surface of the glass. While no cleaner can reverse scratches, pitting or permanent etching, Hard Off+ can clear the hard-water film that often makes glass look cloudy and spotted.
- START DRY; WAIT 30-60 SECONDS - Begin with a completely dry surface. Spray generously, allow Hard Off+ to work for 30-60 seconds, then wipe with a dry cloth. Light deposits may lift with a simple wipe.
- IMPROVE HEAVY BUILDUP WITH A SECOND PASS - Older, layered deposits may respond best to gentle scrubbing with a surface-compatible non-scratch pad followed by another application. Work in manageable sections and follow the bottle’s contact time.
- CHECK THE SURFACE AND CLEAN WITH CARE - Follow the surface maker’s care instructions and patch-test first. Use with ventilation, gloves and eye protection. Includes one 16 fl oz spray bottle; expect a noticeable cleaning-product odor.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will I need to scrub?**
A: Not always. Light deposits may wipe away with a dry terry cloth. Older, layered buildup may need gentle scrubbing with a surface-compatible non-scratch pad and a second application.

**Q: What surfaces should I start with?**
A: Plain, uncoated shower glass is the primary use shown here. Follow the surface maker's care instructions and patch-test before full use. Use on other surfaces only where the maker's guidance allows.

**Q: How fast does it work?**
A: The contact time is 30–60 seconds. Work in manageable sections and never let the product dry.

**Q: What if the glass still looks cloudy?**
A: Some haze can be permanent etching, pitting or scratching rather than removable residue. Hard Off+ targets buildup on the surface.

**Q: Does it have a scent?**
A: Yes. Expect a noticeable cleaning-product odor and use with good ventilation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Hard Water Spray
*by E***Y on April 26, 2022*

After two days the hard water spots where not visible.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ EXPENSIVE BUT WORKS
*by J***N on August 23, 2026*

It works really well at removing hard water stains from windows but it's expensive for a 16oz bottle. By the time you clean a few windows the bottle is halfway empty. If you have to clean your windows on a weekly basis then it does become rather pricey.
