Hoping the extra money spent on a calf split leather version will pay off in terms of durability but only time will tell. Using the box to protect just now! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don’t let the smaller font scare you. *by A***R on Reviewed in Canada on 2 May 2024* I love my NASB pitt minion Bible from Cambridge. The calf split leather is very durable, and after a few weeks the leather is breaking in nicely. The font size is a little smaller, but I am in my late 40s and can read it just fine. I wear glasses and if I have a hard time focusing my eyes, I just take my glasses off. I have not experienced eye strain or fatigue and have no problem reading for long periods.The paper is very opaque and easy to turn. The fact that this is printed by Royal Jongbloed in the Netherlands makes this Bible special and the printing superb. I write notes using a pigma micron 005 and have not experienced bleed through.If you are not sure if you can use this Bible because of its font size, I felt the same way and just decided to go with it and am so happy I did. If you are still unsure of the pitt minion, then go with the Cambridge Diadem. It is the hand size pitt minion with a larger font. I show a picture with the side by side comparison of the two. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Offering from Pitt Minion *by D***Z on Reviewed in the United States on 13 February 2015* This is a gorgeous bible. At first, I was uncertain with the cover, and the size. As others have said, it first comes off as a compact bible, which I generally dislike, except to perhaps keep in my car or in a desk drawer at work. And I am somewhat of a compulsive collector of bibles, and an amateur bookbinder (and re-binder). So I would like to think I have a somewhat reliable understanding of what makes a quality covering and binding, and my general review of this bible is that the binding is durable, yet flexible. The cover seems firm and stable, a high quality leather, yet is flexible enough to lay open while resting on a table. The font is small, while being elegant and readable. To be honest, I've put away all my other bibles (and I have quite a few). I love reference bibles as well, which this is.
