Even worse was the annoying fact that the door of the fridge doesn’t shut properly. Even a few weeks in, the suction does absolutely nothing (the rubber around the inside door) to keep the door of the fridge open. So it’s basically useless. The door pops open each and every time we close it. I actually wondered if I was doing something wrong but I’m pretty sure you should just be able to close the damn door, and viola! I actually had to use duct tape as a fix! Lastly, I think it’s also a safety hazard. I’m pretty sure the outside is not supposed to feel super hot to the touch, but it does! We noticed this within an hour after plugging it in and it stayed hot for hours. This can’t be good or normal. It’s also been an absolute pain contacting customer service. You have to deal with the manufacturer directly. I spent 1.5 hours getting bounced around to 5 different departments none of which could help. Now I’m either stuck with this stupid thing or I have to ship it back and wait for a return and drop more money on a new product. And if you do end up needing to return the item beware, the bottom of the box has no lid (it comes sitting on a piece of hard styrofoam as a sort of makeshift palette, that piece was its lid. That’s strange too! Makes it difficult to seal back properly to return. At this point, I couldn’t care less about its “cute vintage design”. It should be functional/practical first! If you stand it up and look at it straight on, what are the measurements?** A: This should help - I just measured mine. This fridge is 32 1/2” tall, 18 3/4” wide and 17” deep. The depth includes the door when closed, which obviously it is, most of the time. **Q: How much weight can the fridge hold on top?** A: not sure about the max but we have a toaster oven on top of ours. It is pretty sturdy though and could probably handle most reasonable things without impacting the product **Q: What are the inside dimensions?** A: Hi the unit is approx. 14 inches deep x 29 inches high x 15 inches wide **Q: Is the unit suppose to cycle on every 5 min? The door is shut well, the frig is stocked, and there is ventilation.** A: Oh it is very quiet and I keep it in the garage so I don’t not know when it cycles but currently we are experiencing a 95° heat wave so it seems to be running more frequently. We rarely open the door except to pull something out and close it immediately. If the room temperature is elevated, or the door is frequently opened, it will cycle more often.
