So I gave this a go and haven't been disappointed. You get a good lather and it scrubs but not too hard, so you feel really clean afterwards. I brought some cheap fake versions of these a while ago which are ok, but I didn't feel like I'd scrubbed enough with them. My others ones didn't have the knots these ones have, the knots makes it feel like I've scrubbed enough and properly, super easy to use with the strings, also makes it easy to hang and dry after use! They lather amazingly, very good for exfoliating and general skin care, making it easy to clean hard to reach areas etc. They're very effective basically!
