I've found that as I work through a typical one-kilo loaf using a standard bread knife, cutting the remaining loaf into edible slices gets harder as the loaf gets smaller. I love this bread slicer! It slices my sourdough loaves cleanly and evenly with minimal effort. This is so much better than a regular bread knife. It’s also miles better than an electric knife, which tends to chew through the bread. This slicer is well made and worth every penny!
