A rather thin bottle works great. I carry two 22 oz bottles of Smart Water easily. **Q: will it fit a male 44 inch chest size ?** A: I am not sure of my chest size but I am a 6’2” 280 pd man and it fits barely. **Q: Does it include the water bladder? Or Bottle?** A: honestly can't remember, but I don't think so because I purchased the 500 ml bottles and full they're a too big to fit in the pouch. I should have gotten the 250. I am happy with the vest. I did also get the back bladder which I don't like for running cuz you have to suck the fluid which is tough on the breathing. **Q: Is this washable? Preferably washing machine compatible?** A: Yes.
