The two-sided grit is very useful — the 1000 grit helps restore dull knives, and the 6000 grit gives a really nice polished edge. The non-slip base works well and keeps the stone stable while sharpening. I also like that it comes with an angle guide, which is helpful if you’re new to using a whetstone like me.
