## Description

Powdery white deposits on brick, concrete, pavers, block, or other masonry surfaces? RadonSeal Efflorescence Remover is a fast-acting efflorescence cleaner formulated to remove stubborn efflorescence, mortar haze, lime scale, calcium deposits, rust stains, and mineral buildup from porous masonry surfaces. Ideal for concrete, brick, pavers, concrete block, stucco, stone, retaining walls, patios, driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, garage floors, foundation walls, and other exterior and interior masonry surfaces. Unlike traditional muriatic acid cleaners, RadonSeal Efflorescence Remover uses advanced organic salt technology to deliver powerful cleaning performance without harsh acid fumes, bleach, abrasives, or petroleum distillates. It removes unsightly white mineral deposits, lime deposits, calcium buildup, mortar haze, and rust stains while being easier and more pleasant to use than many conventional masonry cleaners. No neutralization step is required—simply rinse thoroughly with water after cleaning. This professional-strength efflorescence cleaner is suitable for homeowners and contractors cleaning concrete, brick, pavers, block, stucco, stone, chimneys, retaining walls, basement walls, garage floors, walkways, sidewalks, patios, driveways, pool decks, and other masonry surfaces affected by efflorescence, lime scale, calcium deposits, mortar haze, and rust staining. Coverage: Approximately 200 sq. ft. per gallon, depending on surface texture, porosity, and severity of staining.

Review: Easily removed efflorescence - I had serious water leaks in my chimney. The water streamed down onto and around the fireplace. This caused efflorescence to appear on the brick that borders the fireplace opening. After fixing the leaks it was time to clean the fireplace. This cleaner easily removed all of the efflorescence from the brick. As an added bonus it nearly cleaned all of the soot. Because of this I took the extra step of cleaning the inside of the firebox. Much of the soot was removed. With all of the efflorescence removed I now realize that there are a few paint stains on the brick from the previous owners. The stains are now very visible because the brick looks like new. I guess this is my next project. If you're interested in the steps that I took, please read on. First I laid heavy plastic tarp on the floor around the fireplace. I did not want any splashing to land on my hardwood floor. After putting on a dust mask, next I used a brush with a long handle to clean any loose efflorescence from the brick. I suggest keeping an air purifier running nearby since this step will kick up some efflorescence laden dust. Then I used plain tap water to soak the brick. I had used the same brush and a bucket of water. You'll notice the brick soak up the water right away. This step is important so that the brick does not soak up much of the cleaner. You are cleaning only the surface after all. I put on long latex gloves and safety goggles that completely surround and enclose my eyes. I used a separate bucket with about a quart of the cleaner. I brushed the cleaner on the brick using a bit of elbow grease. I brushed 2-3 coats. Let the cleaner sit for a few minutes, per the instructions on the bottle. Finally, I used fresh water to rinse the cleaner away. The bricks look like new!
Review: Don’t waste your money - This product does nothing either than living the stain all over the floor, and the instruction says apply to the wall and then after 15 minute rings it with the water for the next couple days the efflorescent back and more than that, the floor became staining that you won’t be able to remove, as you can see on the pictures, when I tried to contact Customer Service, they play themselves that they know nothing about the product that can leave stain on the floor and they hear that for they first time and what’s more interested, couple days after they decide to leave desertcart, so probably I wasn’t the only one who had problem with the product, cause they ran away with my money desertcart had good excuse not to pay me back even from the claim that I put with A to Z warranty (3 times) with the pictures nothing helps It’s a shame 😞

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How effective is RadonSeal Efflorescence Cleaner at removing efflorescence?**
A: RadonSeal Efflorescence Cleaner effectively removes most efflorescence, salt deposits, and lime from surfaces. However, over time, some deposits can form calcium carbonate, which is harder for cleaners to remove and may require mechanical grinding.

**Q: Will the cleaner discolor the surface?**
A: The cleaner can make surfaces look refreshed and “like new” compared to untreated areas. Its buffered formulation can lightly etch surfaces, so it’s best to spot test first—especially on colored surfaces—before treating the entire area.

**Q: How is the cleaner applied?**
A: You can apply it with a hand-pump garden sprayer, a watering can, roller, or brush, whatever’s easiest for you.

**Q: Will the cleaner harm grass, plants, or metal nearby?**
A: For protection, mask any surfaces you don’t want cleaned and lightly water nearby grass and shrubs. Avoid contact with aluminum and other metals, but if the cleaner does get on metal, simply rinse with water or wipe it off with a damp cloth.

**Q: Do I need to use baking soda or ammonia to neutralize the cleaner?**
A: No, just plenty of clean water is enough. Depending on the size of the area, wet the surface with a spray bottle, watering can, hose, or pressure washer. Indoors, you can use a shop vac afterward to thoroughly remove the dirty water and cleaner.
