Whenever you can physically feel a noticeable change in the room's temperature or humidity, the gauge accurately and quickly reflects that shift on the screen. It is very helpful for monitoring your indoor environment at a glance. However, I did notice that there is a slight margin of error with the exact readings, so it might not be perfectly precise if you need absolute accuracy. Despite the minor discrepancy, it does exactly what it needs to do for a basic home setup.

These are terrific for my use. Easy to read and they let me know where wetness is in my 95 year old home that I was not aware of so I can take appropriate action to correct/fix same to prevent further potential moisture damage. I have 6 throughout my home and so small you forget they are there doing their job. Great asset if you have any type of moisture in your home you need to identify and take care of.
