## Description

BAHA fine grain mineral sea salt is hand-harvested from the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Mexico, and processed manually rather than industrially. Nothing is bleached out and nothing is added back: the ingredient statement reads Pure Sea Salt, and the naturally occurring minerals of the seawater, magnesium, potassium and calcium among them, are still in the crystal. About the grain, because it is the question people ask most. This is a fine sea salt, not a powder. The crystals run slightly larger than standard table salt and much smaller than coarse kosher salt or a finishing flake. They pour and measure cleanly, dissolve in seconds in hot water, and season evenly by hand. If you want a flaky sea salt with visible crystals for finishing, or a salt grinder refill, the coarse grain in this family is the one to choose. If you want sal de mar fina for everyday cooking, baking and a glass of mineral water, this is it. Because there are no anti-caking agents, an unrefined salt keeps a trace of natural moisture and can pack down in a humid kitchen. That is normal for natural sea salt, and it is why we suggest a salt cellar and seasoning by hand over a shaker. A spoon breaks it up in a second. Uses: seasoning meat and vegetables, salting pasta water, bread and pastry dough, brines, pickling and canning, rimming a margarita glass, finishing at the table, and stirring a small pinch into drinking water or citrus juice, which is how many people use mineral salts for drinking water at home. Kosher certified. Suitable for vegan, keto and paleo diets. One pound of unrefined baja sea salt in a resealable stand-up pouch. Product of Mexico.

Review: Big Fan with One Caveat - So long story short i wanted a high-quality salt with plenty of minerals to use for electrolytes because i was going back on a low-carb diet, but also for cooking too. Now i had been hearing about a competitor for some time and never tried it, but i came across this product, the price was much, much better, and it is of a high quality also, so i thought, why not. Well as soon as it came i tried some, and i was blown away with the taste, i really do love it, and i use it on all my food, and i use it with some potassium and magnesium in water for my electrolytes. Now, having said that i will mention one thing that might make it a negative in some situations, for some people. It doesn't bother me, but others have mentioned this, but this product says it is " Fine" salt, now it is bigger than a lot of people would consider fine, and while it doesn't bother me when i use it in water for electrolytes, for some people it might be an issue. But other than that, I am a big fan. And plan on keep buying it.
Review: Expensive - Nice taste, bit expensive

## Features

- FINE GRAIN, DESCRIBED HONESTLY: The crystals of this mineral salt run a shade larger than standard table salt and well below coarse kosher salt, so they pour and measure cleanly and melt into hot food and water in seconds.
- HAND-HARVESTED IN BAJA CALIFORNIA: Manually processed from the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and bagged unrefined, so the naturally occurring minerals of the seawater stay in the crystal, magnesium, potassium and calcium among them.
- NO ANTI-CAKING AGENTS: Free-flow additives are left out entirely, which is why the salt holds a trace of natural moisture and can pack down in a humid kitchen. A spoon loosens it, and hand-seasoning is how unrefined salt is meant to be used.
- FROM THE PAN TO THE WATER GLASS: Fine enough to season steak, vegetables, pasta water and bread dough evenly, to finish a plate at the table, and to stir into a glass of water or fresh citrus without settling at the bottom.
- KOSHER CERTIFIED, RESEALABLE 1 LB POUCH: One ingredient on the label, pure sea salt, nothing else. Kosher certified and suited to vegan, keto and paleo kitchens. The pouch reseals flat or decants into a salt cellar.

I love it! I’ll never use regular table salt again! It’s just a great flavor all its own! Fresh. A big PLUS for its mineral content !! Important for body functions. It’s kind of hard to explain, it’s just “GOOD”! And “BETTER” for you. Darlene S.
