Glad I did. I spooled up two of my reels with it and haven't had a single issue β€” no wind knots, no fraying, nothing to complain about. The line is noticeably strong for its diameter, and you can really feel the difference in sensitivity compared to mono since there's basically no stretch. Bites come through much clearer, and I've had solid confidence in the line when fighting fish, even around structure where abrasion resistance matters. It casts smoothly and hasn't given me any trouble with backlash or tangling, which was one of my worries going in after years of mono. Overall, this made the switch to braid a lot easier than I expected, and I'll definitely be using Beyond Braid going forward. Definitely recommend this line, especially if you're a longtime mono angler thinking about giving braid a try. Review: My new favorite braided line - This braided line is just as good as the more expensive lines at a fraction of the price ## Features - CAST FURTHER & LASTS LONGER- Beyond Braid has a smooth fluoropolymer coating that allows for more efficient casts and longer distances every time. A thinner diameter slices through your guides and allows you to pack more line onto your reel. - NO STRETCH FOR EXTREME SENSITIVITY- Braided line PE fibers have no stretch properties which allow you to feel every bite and have instant hooksets increasing your hookup ratio. This lets you feel more connected with what is on the other end of your line - NO FADE BRAID - Made with colored OEM fibers, this braid is not dyed with color, so there is no color fading, or dye mess on your fingers or gear when fishing and spooling! It will remain the same color for the life of the braid. - 8X STRANDS- Our 8X braid has 8 tightly woven PE fibers for a thinner, smoother, and ultra-performing line. Having 8 strands gives this line a much rounder and more natural feel, which results in farther casts and a smoother experience every time. - LOW MEMORY- Helps keep your line straight during casting which leads to less wind knots, tangles, and will extend the life of your braid. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C9W1QBR5 | | Best Sellers Rank | #286 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #3 in Braided Fishing Line | | Brand | Beyond Braid | | Brand Name | Beyond Braid | | Breaking Strength | 15 pounds | | Color | Bahama Blue 8X - No Fade | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 9,160 Reviews | | Fishing Line Type | Braided | | Included Components | Braid | | Item Highlight | 8X strand, No Fade color, 300 Yards spool | | Item Length | 300 yard | | Line Weight | 15 | | Manufacturer | Beyond Braid | | Material | Polyethylene | | Material Type | Polyethylene | | Number of Items | 1 | | Size | 8LB (300 Yards) | | Strand Type | Multi | | UPC | 850051238279 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Beyond Braid - **Color:** Bahama Blue 8X - **Fishing Line Type:** Braided - **Line Weight:** 8 pounds - **Material:** Polyethylene ## Images ![Beyond Braid Braided Fishing Line -Super Strong - Abrasion Resistant - No Stretch -Blue Camo, Moss Camo, White, Green, Pink, Blue, 4 Strand 8 Strand - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OMAWYPH5L.jpg) ![Beyond Braid Braided Fishing Line -Super Strong - Abrasion Resistant - No Stretch -Blue Camo, Moss Camo, White, Green, Pink, Blue, 4 Strand 8 Strand - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61r0Xkt5NmL.jpg) ![Beyond Braid Braided Fishing Line -Super Strong - Abrasion Resistant - No Stretch -Blue Camo, Moss Camo, White, Green, Pink, Blue, 4 Strand 8 Strand - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Sepwd-5ML.jpg) ![Beyond Braid Braided Fishing Line -Super Strong - Abrasion Resistant - No Stretch -Blue Camo, Moss Camo, White, Green, Pink, Blue, 4 Strand 8 Strand - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51r7vpoOhsL.jpg) ![Beyond Braid Braided Fishing Line -Super Strong - Abrasion Resistant - No Stretch -Blue Camo, Moss Camo, White, Green, Pink, Blue, 4 Strand 8 Strand - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51py0BVhYOL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great switch from mono β€” no issues *by J***L on July 29, 2026* I've been fishing my whole life and have always been a monofilament guy, but I wanted to give braid another shot and decided to try Beyond Braid.
