Review: Love these - These are really great. They work just fine as long as you follow the directions. Some people who reviewed these negatively clearly did not follow the directions and it's really too bad. The key is to roll out your fondant or gum paste super thin (less than the bands on any fondant roller would allow. You'll want to remove those and go thinner. Nope, even thinner.) and let it sit for a minute or two before you use the cutter. I add a little CMC powder to speed up the drying and for added firmness, but it's not required. You'll just have to wait a little longer for it to harden a bit. Brush a thin coat of cornstarch onto the rolled out fondant, dip your cutter in the cornstarch then gently tap off the excess. When you cut your piece it's important to wiggle the cutter against your work surface to completely cut through and get a defined edge. Then tap the cutter against the table top until your cut piece pops out. You can then use a fluffy brush to dust off any excess cornstarch. You should not need to go in afterward and trim a seam at all. Works like a charm. Just remember to LET YOUR FONDANT DRY SLIGHTLY BEFORE YOU USE THE CUTTERS and all will be well. If you still struggle, there are YouTube videos that troubleshoot any issues you might have with these. These are worth learning how to use!

**Q: Are cookie instructions included?**
A: There is no instructions included.  It is very easy to use, put the cooks dough into the mold, press the dough with your finger or palm then invert the mold and gently hit the counter, the molded cook will fall into the table.  Since it is made with wood, you can’t put the mold into the oven.  I hope it helps!

**Q: How does this mold come packaged?  Is it sealed in plastic or in manufacturer’s box before placing in the Amazon shipping container?**
A: I remembered it just came in an ordinary paper box but the inside was properly wrapped.  No damage to my order!

**Q: How can be separated ?**
A: You can’t separate it, what stinks is when you need a letter you have to basically press  all of them and just go cut what you need. But they are beautiful letters

**Q: Are all 4 pieces the same size?**
A: Hi,Thank you for your questions and the four sizes are 2.2 inches on the longest side and 1.5 inches on the shortest side.

i was skeptical but it wasn't as troublesome as i imagined. the letter "k" gave me the most problems but for the price they worked very well. i was impatient so i didn't let my gumpaste set, leading to a little fraying of the edges, but you can clean that up with either an exacto knife or push while still soft with a q tip. Absolutely worth the price.
