They've falsely stated stated that the "TS600" consumes 150W but obviously they are talking about the TS1000. The TS600 draws 100W. The sticker on the TS600 claims efficacy of 2.3 umol/J. But this is a lie. Mars Hydro has not produced test reports to back up this claim. And I just finished testing the TS600 and it is SIGNIFICANTLY dimmer than other 100W LED competitors. I estimate the efficacy to be 1.8 umol/J. And as for the TS1000, the 2 year old Integrating Sphere test report clearly shows the PPE to be 2 umol/J. However, this was before the added the IR diodes. The driver was revised also. The TS1000 has a sticker claiming PPE of 2.2 and after testing the unit against other models, I believe this might be accurate. It's at least 2 umol/J or possibly 2.2 umol/J, but not any higher (as of Jan 2021). **Q: Does this light get hot?** A: 115F was the hottest spot on the driver (tent w/inline and oscillating fan). So I would say warm, but not hot at all. About as warm as a T5 fixture... Much less heat than 315w CMH, 250w MH/HPS. **Q: How to turn it up to a 1000 Watts** A: It only runs 150 watts on full blast. Its supposed to replace a 1000 watt hps. If you get the new model it has a dimming switch **Q: Quick question... one "rape" rachet, is that enough to hold down one or two?** A: This question didn't get answered correctly the first time. Got it to replace my (so called)1200 watt King LED bluple light. The bluple light was ok for the veg cycle but doesn't have enough power to produce quantity or quality of buds. This new light is many times brighter than my old light. Set it up 3/4 through the flowering stage so I'm not sure if it will make much of a difference in this grow, but I'm looking forward to my next full grow. I'll update my review then. Very happy with the initial quality and ease of setup. UPDATE- Too late for last grow...Installed in my new 5x5 Mars hydro tent (awesome tent) 3 weeks in and the plants are loving the light. further updates coming. Well 5 weeks into flowering and the limitations of the light are obvious. As you can see from my 8th picture showing how the center of the tent gets the most light, Makes for a lot of lost product.
