I previously had a Samsung 2.1 channel sound bar and was always getting complaints about not being able to hear anything or any details, especially voices. Even when the soundbar was turned up to 70+, it felt like it didn’t really get louder past 50, but just noisier and you could hear the static. I took a chance on this nakamichi soundwafe and was beyond impressed. The set up is easy, no issues at all with connectivity. It is pretty much plug and play unless you want to fine tune the system, in which case there’s an app that helps you and a manual that covers the remote functionality very well. Once I was up and running, my oh my, the sound was clean, loud and provided a movie theater like experience. I love that the soundbar tells you what type of audio is being passed to it (Dolby atmos, stereo, surround, etc). I use this with my Nvidia shield and it has significantly enhanced my movie watching experience. Volume 3 is perfect, I went up to 10 and it was loud and it felt like the system could be comfortably pushed even further producing clean sound. One last thing I’ll mention is the customer service. It is the best I’ve ever seen, they’ve reached out several times to ask me how things have been going. Replied to every message I’ve sent and even has a concierge support that has a live person on the other end of the phone (I called on a Sunday Night). Amazing product and even better customer service. It was a truly plug and play experience. It is so easy to set up (be sure to do the handshake). We have a smaller living room and this system fills our room with theater like sound without being overwhelming. After having many different surround sound systems, this one blows the others out of the water.It is first system we have had that we dont have to adjust the volume to hear dialog clearly.
