Review: Wonderful starter set - This is a fabulous entry into Dice Throne. If you get hooked, you can expand by buying more two player boxes or by finding the Battle Chests (elsewhere unless they start to sell them here for a reasonable price). In any case, being able to buy the starter set on desertcart is fabulous. It is a go-to gift too. The flexibility is amazing with these games. I love gunslinger because she has some fun elements (all characters have some unique aspects) and samurai can be a great counter too. Highly recommend this game and all the characters. Only caveat… if you want to learn the game or are buying for someone who has never played it, get a set like this. Some of the other sets can be more complex and harder to learn if you have never played before. However, each character is well balanced so even a relatively easy to learn character can take down a more complex character. It is a beautiful thing!

If your kid can read, they'll be able to play. Even your Grandpa could pick it up in a few minutes. It's easy to adjust the amount of time a game takes by starting with more or less hit points.

This is a fabulous entry into Dice Throne. I been waiting for a game like this. I didn't hear about it until season 2, but I totally bought into season 2 because of the art style and unique character board. The art and card stock are definitely premium quality and the game play is quick and unique every time. After every match you can also reflect and look back and think of a way that you could had a better chance to win, even if the dice were not in your favor! About to buy another pack of heroes to play with 4 people!
