She had been drinking Ensure plant based protein, so I knew this wouldn't cause her any digestive problems. This multi-pack comes with Vanilla, Chocolate and Coffee. It's a great way to test-drive all the flavors. Vanilla was my aunt's favorite, although she still feels it is "thick" (because she is expecting it to be the consistency of milk). I thought it tasted like a wonderful, melted, vanilla shake. She was "okay" with the coffee even though coffee is MY favorite! It tastes very much like a delicious cappuccino. The chocolate was everyone's least favorite. It has that weird taste that all chocolate protein drinks seem to have. It's drinkable, just not as enjoyable as the other two. I am very sensitive to artificial sweeteners - they taste awful to me and some of them give me a headache. Ripple plant based protein shakes use monk fruit instead of artificial sweeteners. I have not liked stevia in the past so I wasn't sure how monk fruit would taste. Happily, I found it to be acceptable. There IS an aftertaste, like with an artificial sweetener, but it is less strong and fades quickly, leaving the flavor of the shake to enjoy. And I haven't had any headaches from it either.
