I often have one jar with lavender and one with peppermint in each window. Near the doors, I will often use a fake potted plant or flowers and add the cotton ball to the pot or just spray the flower/leaves if they can handle it. the Lavender also feels very relaxing. Sometimes I only use lavender, without the peppermint, in the bedrooms. The lavender also smells stronger than my peppermint spray (though I think the peppermint is more diluted). Sometimes, I also spray on outdoor rugs, pillows, and door frames that aren't directly exposed to the elements, but I don't know if it really does anything other than smell nice.Generally, we don't really like fragrances in our home and a few of the fam are hypersensitive to scents, but this can be sparsely applied so the scent is very subtle and still seems to help reduce the wasps.We used to have many wasps in the house in the summer, but now we seem to get less in the house each season.
