I was working full-time and going to school full-time and feeling very stressed and overwhelmed. I found a lone copy in my college library which was heavily lined and underscored by other students. All of the other copies of the book were checked out. I have used the concepts in this book since then. The examples Jeffers uses in her book have stood the test of time for me. Now I use her exercises in my work as a clinical social worker and continue to receive positive feedback. Many people have shared with me that these exercises are helpful and simple to use. The author has touched many people's lives with her book and it has also been expanded into workshops which you can find online, to guide people with implementing these concepts.
