Review: Provides power and Ethernet to Chromecast. - Works great on my Chromecast with Google TV ( not 4k ) and PoE+ switch. This provides both Ethernet and power to the Chromecast.
Review: Does not fully meet my expectations - Positive: is recognized as a NIC and transmits data. Positive: Charges the smartphone. Which it doesn't do (but I hoped it would): Function as a NIC and charge the smartphone via USB at the same time. Why did I hope so? To use it together with the smartphone via tethering as a backup/fallback modem for the Internet router via LAN with included power support. With the proviso that I wouldn't have to take care about it when I needed it.
