We wanted something that kids and dogs could easily go in and out of when we leave the doors open without having to worry about closing a screen door behind them, but still keeping flies out of the house. This does that job. The installation was easy, it feels very sturdy, not like it's going to come off the door, and the magnets work very well. It always closes behind you when you walk through. And our 12 year old poodle learned how to go in and out of it quickly without difficulty. It's very functional and well made, especially for the price. It's just not exactly elegant or fancy looking, but I can't honestly say I expected anything different. Photos attached to show - it looks a little trashy from the exterior. From the interior, it looks okay (still not amazing), and doesn't block the view too much - you can see only a slight difference in the light from the two windows on either side vs. the door with the screen. Review: Extremely better than the "As Seen on TV" brand! - I tried the "As Seen on TV" screens three times (twice, then one was a gift). They lose irreplaceable magnets, often do not close all of the way, and the material unravels badly. The doors all tended to come down partially and had to be reattached. All of this happens early on. They were a pain to put up, too. Having said that, this door was totally the opposite. I love that it is white to match my balcony frame. It was super easy to put up and it will definitely not come down once up until you take it down. The material is sturdy and it is very well constructed. The magnets are stitched in so they cannot fall off nor leave gaps in the opening. I have had this up for about 4 months with no problems in any way. I use the door a lot and I have a big, healthy male cat. He uses the door often. I will definitely continue to buy this door if it should ever wear out. I do not think that will be any time soon. It is well worth the price! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My experiences *by C***. on May 17, 2017* I've had several types of these and both black and white. So far this one is my favorite. It was very easy to install. I think probably the black is a little less blocking of view. But the white compliments our white trim. I have noted a lot of flies landing on the white outside. Maybe its the same with the black and you just don't notice as much. The magnets are good but not good enough to fight a strong breeze. My dog and even our stupid cat learned to operate these pretty quickly. A real positive on this specific model is that the Velcro is sewn onto the screen door. This should make replacement as easy as sticking up a replacement. It comes with enough Velcro to cover 100% of the door frame. One drawback on all these type doors is if you have steel doors that the magnets stick to. A bit of a pain, but manageable. I had an expensive screen door built with a pet door in it. I actually prefer these magnetic screens.
