Although the specs on the RT-BE50 aren’t quite as high as the BQ16’s, they are more than enough to extend my network to my outside Office/Cabin using Access Point mode, (main and iot 2.5Ghz networks), mirroring what I have in the main house via the BQ16 router. So far the network has been very stable - I’ve had the odd situation where I have needed to reboot the routers either certain devices going offline (especially following a power cut), but generally has not been a problem. My only criticism with these routers is without in depth conversations with AI I wouldn’t have had a clue about some of the settings I’ve needed to tweak - an there are a lot of settings which unless you are a network engineer you’ll likely not be aware of them or what they do, so something to be aware of - the default settings will only work to an extent, so worth asking CoPilot, ChatGBT or Gemini etc some questions.
