Review: plenty salty tasting but low sodium. High potassium (which gives this the salty taste) - Low sodium. I dont exactly watch my sodium intake, but I much prefer this low sodium version compared to the original. That was way too high in sodium for a drink and it tasted way too salty too. This low sodium (95 mg) is so much better tasting to me. It has enough of a salty taste from potassium chloride (basically a salt alternative). Slightly more watery but still has a robust flavor. I find it very pleasant. But if you were looking for less salty taste.. this is still quite salty tasting just not as much as the original. I love that this tiny little can has 1 gram of fiber. Also 1 gram protein. I really didnt expect to see any. It also has a goodly amount of potassium (700 mg) .. again, which is what is replacing much of the sodium. Tiny 5.5 ounce cans. That is good or bad depending on what you are looking for. I like it room temp or cold. I just chug it. I imagine it works in cocktails and even as an addition to a soup, sauce or stew. **Q: It's been probably close to a year since i bought any low sodium v8, but i remember the taste.  i've drunk 2 cans and they taste sweet.  why?**
A: Just a guess. Being low sodium, there is less salt, less of the salty taste. I noticed the difference when I switched. Now I don't miss it. There are 5 grams of sugar in the 5.5 oz can, but no (0) added sugar. Which means that the sugar comes from the veg juices they use to make the product. The reduced salt doesn't cover up the sweet like it does in the standard product.

**Q: what is the expiration date? Today is 6/22/22**
A: 9/2022

**Q: Description says 5.5oz cans, image is of 11.5oz cans, which is it?**
A: The cans are 5.5 ounces.

**Q: does this help n weight loss?**
A: We buy it because its low sodium, and for the size of can and hope its a form of getting some vegetable into our body. Don't know about weight loss.
