Was used to seal a rusted hole at a joint a couple of inches from a silencer section and has done exactly that. Well pleased as it was much cheaper and easier to do than to replace what would've ended up likely being the whole exhaust. | ## Images ![ExhaustWeld Total Exhaust Repair Wrap Kit - 38572 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81cmzm5IFwL.jpg) ![ExhaustWeld Total Exhaust Repair Wrap Kit - 38572 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hG+MuhlnL.jpg) ![ExhaustWeld Total Exhaust Repair Wrap Kit - 38572 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81HoxWaElnL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does it work on Motorcycle pipe** A: Probably would , but would not look very nice **Q: Will this bond to fiberglass pipe on boat exhaust?** A: I imagine it will. It is basically just fiberglass cloth in an epoxy. PREP IS KEY. Scuff and clean the surface very carefully. I will also add that I had an issue with one of JBWelds products and their customer service was top notch! I got all my application questions answered quickly. It wouldn’t hurt to shoot them an email. They may have a product designed specifically for your application. **Q: need to seal my 1974 VW bug pipes but must be able to break seal to remove as they cover my valves. Can this sea be broken to pull pipes apart? Thx** A: air cooled guy myself. You will need to cut the wrap with a razor blade to remove. May be better to get an extractor exhaust that lets you remove the valve covers without taking the exhaust down **Q: What can I do if I didn't receive my entire order?** A: It all comes in one sealed container. Narrow piece of Foil tape may have dropped out when you opened. To be honest, you don’t need it. Plastic gloves and pouch with soaked fiberglass wrap. One box only, so nothing is missing from this kit. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ crack *by J***C on 2023年2月23日にサウジアラビアでレビュー済み* only few days is just crack ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ J-B Weld ExhaustWeld *by D***E on 2026年8月3日に英国でレビュー済み* Easy to apply following the instructions and so far seems to have done the job nicely. Well pleased as it was much cheaper and easier to do than to replace what would've ended up likely being the whole exhaust. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ better than paste or filler *by S***R on 2026年3月6日にオーストラリアでレビュー済み* I tried the paste before this and it just cracked, this has stayed in one piece. It works great. Not much to say really. It cures on its own in a couple of hours or you can start the car and cure it quicker with the heat. I let mine sit overnight rather than rush it. Maybe that helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - J-B Weld ExhaustWeld 2" x 72" Repair Wrap, White - J-B Weld MufflerSeal Muffler Cement Plastic Tube 12 oz., Model Number: 37912 - J-B Weld 37901 ExtremeHeat High Temperature Resistant Metallic Paste - 3 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/730933127-exhaustweld-total-exhaust-repair-wrap-kit-38572](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/730933127-exhaustweld-total-exhaust-repair-wrap-kit-38572) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
