I think that the worry whenever you buy anything that's inexpensive, that it will be cheap, too. In this case, I had two infrequently used guest bathroom showerheads that were old, gross looking, and partially clogged with hard water deposits. How would these showerheads work out?First off, I've installed many showerheads, and this installation was among the easiest. Conveniently, the showerhead includes a (much larger than necessary) Teflon tape spool. The fitting on the showerhead has two parallel, flat surfaces for using a wrench. The installation tips I would give: 1.) wrap the Teflon tape in the same direction that the showerhead fitting will screw on to the pipe, and 2.) put a layer or two of tape (I use painter's tape) on the fitting so you don't mar the finish when you tighten the showerhead fitting with a wrench. It took less than 5 minutes to install two of these.As far as the showerhead itself goes, it's not unattractive. I know it's subjective, but I prefer brushed nickel to chrome... however, the chromed surface area is pretty small, so it's not overly blingy. To that end, the entire showerhead is surprisingly compact. I installed it without the flow restrictor, so I can't speak to the performance when using it. The showerhead (without the restrictor) has good water pressure in all but the "rain" mode. The selector lever feels a little cheap, but it's easy to reach, and it's easier to switch "modes" than on many all-in-one showerheads.This showerhead is good enough to use as your daily. The only real gripe may just be aesthetic, because it's handsome and functional and not substantial and beautiful. I suppose it just comes down to what you need and what you're willing to spend money on... this showerhead costs about 15% of the one in my master bath shower, functions 95% as well, and looks 25% as nice. If that's in-line with your value and aesthetic sensibilities, this is a really good value and capable performer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works great. It took me less than a minute. And what a difference. It has five settings. Came with the teflon tape, a flow restrictor and a twizer. I did not put the restrictor because I wanted a high power flow. It worked like a charm. I finally enjoyed taking a shower. I know my wife would love it when she takes her shower. I highly recommend this shower head. It is also beautiful. I just ordered and received two more shower heads. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars So Far, So Good *by J***3 on Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2020* I'm very picky about shower heads. Have tried several that claim to increase pressure but in reality they just trickled out. I was about to just go back to Oxygenics when I decided wth, I'll try this last one for $15. Came with the restrictor already removed in a little plastic bag along with a pair of plastic tweezer things, whatever they're called. I left the restrictor out, removed the old plumber's tape from my pipe, wrapped the new tape that came with this shower head, and gave it a whirl. Had to make it a little tighter at first because a small amount of water leaked out of the connection. After tightening, seemed to be fine.My favorite is the first setting, the one that mixes air with the water kinda like Oxygenics. Personally, I call that the mist setting, but they call it massage (and vice versa). Good pressure. I tried the other settings too, all seemed to be acceptable, but I did notice a stream or two that was shooting a little crooked in "rain" mode. Also I have concerns on changing from one setting to the next too often, as the switch feels a bit plastic-y. And it doesn't have the rubber nozzles that are supposed to be good for hard water with high calcium (the lovely white crust), which my area has. However, you're supposed to change your shower head at least once a year due to mineral and bacteria buildup that gets trapped in the head, so maybe it'll be okay.
