## Overview

Hotspot Stove and Grate Polish Black is a premium 75ml liquid polish designed to restore and protect cast iron surfaces with a heat-resistant, durable black finish. Its quick-drying, easy-to-apply formula revitalizes stoves, grates, and fireplaces, resisting peeling, flaking, and discoloration. Safe, eco-friendly, and unscented, it’s ideal for maintaining the elegance and longevity of wood-burning stoves and metal fixtures in family homes.

## Description

Hotspot Stove and Grate Polish Black is a cosmetic blacking polish in an easy-to-use 75ml tube, formulated to revitalize the appearance of cast iron stoves, grates, fireplace tools and chimineas with a sleek, heat-resistant black finish. It covers dull finishes and surface rust rather than chemically removing rust -- for best results on rusted cast iron, remove loose rust first with wire wool or a wire brush, then apply a small amount with a cloth or brush and buff to a shine; one tube typically lasts for months of regular use. This product is for wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and similar heat-exposed, non-food surfaces -- it is not suitable for outdoor BBQ grills or any food-contact surface, and releases fumes on first heating that could contaminate food. Expect a noticeable burning smell the first time the stove is lit after application; this is normal, dissipates after the initial heating, and good ventilation is recommended.

## Features

- Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one; 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one(2634-33-5). May produce an allergic reaction.
- Flammable solid.
- May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
- Restores and Enhances Original Shine: Revitalizes the appearance of stoves, grates, fireplace tools and cast iron surfaces, covering dull or surface-rusted finishes with a sleek, polished black look. For rusted surfaces, remove loose rust first with wire wool or a wire brush for the best result
- Heat-Resistant Finish for Stoves, Grates, Fireplace Tools & Chimineas: Maintains its finish at the high temperatures of an active wood-burning stove or fireplace. Not rated for outdoor BBQ grills or food-contact surfaces -- the product releases fumes on first heating, which could contaminate food
- Easy to Apply, Long-Lasting Tube: Applies smoothly with a cloth or brush and dries quickly -- a little goes a long way, with customers reporting one tube lasts months of regular use
- Simple to Apply, Ventilate on First Use: A small amount on a cloth covers a large area. Expect a noticeable burning smell the first time you light your stove or fireplace after applying -- this is normal and dissipates after the initial heating, so ensure good ventilation
- Versatile for Cast Iron Stoves, Grates & Fireplace Accessories: Customers confirm great results on fireplace tools, companion sets, multi-fuel fire surrounds and even chimineas -- not suitable for outdoor BBQ grills or any food-contact surface

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this product come up black or graphite black like the Stovax product?**
A: I would say that the Manor Hot Spot Grate Polish which I purchased is closer to Black than Graphite, it isn't matt black and there is a slight sheen to it after buffing. Hope this helps.

A: Yes, it is suitable for the cooker hob, that is what I use it on.

**Q: What's the coverage like? How big an area could you do with this size tube?**
A: Tube quite big mine I get one a year you don’t need a lot but wear rubber gloves as a bit messy nice soft cloth

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: The box says Hydrocarbons, C9 - C11, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, 2% aromatics.
