Bear in mind, as with all stearic acid products sold directly to consumers, this is not pure stearic acid. That stuff is only available in large quantities, and typically sold directly to major manufacturers for specific needs. However, the fatty acid profile of this is excellent for creating a cleansing, thick, creamy lathering soap, especially with the addition of a little coconut oil. You could make something extremely simple, cheap, and effective utilizing this ingredient. The company is very responsive and helpful, and when I made a mistake, they actually helped me make up for it. Also, since putting cooing oil down the drain is bad, stearic acid is a perfect sponge.When done cooking, pour onto fats and/or oils to form a paste, then scrape into the trash.
