Review: Wow, IT WORKS!!! - This is my second bottle of this. I bought the first at Whole Foods, on an impulse. Heard it was a good one, and wanted to try it, because I’d been disappointed in other, cheaper Vit C serums in the past. My skin is clear and in good shape, though I spent a lot of time in the sun when I was younger. I don’t reallyhave any deep wrinkles...it’s just that when you get past your 30’s, you lose that youthful glow....and I have some very fine lines...so, I usually am using at least one exfoliating anti aging product. While using this, I used it alone, because I wanted to see if it really made a difference. After washing my face, I’d apply this serum, a little eye cream, and then if it was morning, my makeup. I used the entire bottle, down to the last drop, so I feel I can give an honest review. One, it works, and quickly. Within a week or so, I saw a smoother texture to my skin. By the end of the bottle, my skin definitely looked smoother, brighter, and 3 darker spots on my face (sun damage) were at least 80% lighter. I have one on my right cheek and two on my jawline, that I would cover with concealer. Amazingly, they are almost gone. Two, it’s pleasant and easy to use. Not really luxurious, and has no scent, but who cares if it works? The serum has an almost watery texture, and sinks in fast. A few drops go a long way. I spread it over my face, neck and chest after cleansing at night, and sometimes - though not always - applied in the AM as well. Three, I had no breakouts or irritation from this product. I applied it everywhere, including my upper eyelids...but I don’t recommend that, especially if you have sensitive skin. I bought my second bottle from desertcart, I think it was the same price, but I see right now that it’s priced at several dollars less. Will definitely keep using this, and maybe even try more products from this company. Highly recommended. Edited to add: due to my positive experience with this product, I decided to go with the company’s recommendation to use the stronger Vitamin A serum at night and use the Vitamin C in the AM. I know there are some negative reviews here, and wish people would describe their skin condition before leaving reviews. **Q: what is the ph level?  and percentage of vitamin c?please and thanks**
A: I contacted the company who makes it and this was their response:

"Different forms of vitamin C have different pH requirements for maximum stability and absorption. The form of vitamin C that we use is called sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP). It is a very stable and bioavailable form of vitamin C and needs a pH around 5.5-6.5 for maximum stability and absorption. Our Vitamin C Serum is water-based and has a thin, gel-like consistency that absorbs quickly and easily into skin. We recommend massaging between 2-4 drops into freshly washed skin that has been gently patted dry. You can adjust the amount to suit your skin's needs."

Whether or not this is from the actual company or counterfeit, idk but hopefully this helps.

**Q: What is the percentage of vitamin C in this?**
A: I wrote the company regarding the question on percentage of VItamin C and this was their response (which seems acceptable to me): 

"Because we use a different form of Vitamin C than most companies and a different concentration is needed, we don't put the percentage on the label. Most companies use L-ascorbic acid; however, it has some disadvantages when compared to other forms of Vitamin C that are now available. For one, L-ascorbic acid is very unstable and it oxidizes quickly. It is also not easily absorbed through the skin's lipid barrier so a high concentration is needed (usually 15-20%) to make an effective product. At this concentration, while it slowly absorbs, L-ascorbic acid can cause irritation and acne outbreaks for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. So, while L-ascorbic acid has been around for a long time and it works for some people, we feel that there are better forms of Vitamin C now available.

The form of Vitamin C that we choose to use is called sodium ascorbyl phosphate (SAP). It has a salt molecule attached to it, allowing it to easily penetrate the skin's lipid barrier. Because it is easily absorbed and utilized by the skin, it is not associated with the irritation often experienced with L-ascorbic acid. Also, a lower concentration is needed for the same results, which also leads to less irritation. The percentage we use is equivalent to a much higher concentration of L-ascorbic acid because it is more bioavailable (comparable to a 15-20% L-ascorbic acid serum). It is also phenomenally more stable, allowing longer shelf life, even once it has been opened.

Although most people purchase our Vitamin C Serum to heal sun damage, brighten the skin, and reduce discoloration/ age spots, SAP has also been shown to treat acne and reduce the appearance of acne scars. We also add Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid to double the photo-protective qualities of the Vitamin C (as demonstrated in a recent study at Duke University).

**Q: Can this priduct be used around the eye area?**
A: I have used it all over my face w/o any issues, including around my eyes.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Miracle product, worth the price!

Amazing product. I spent weeks researching Vitamin C products, and although this was on my mind from the very beginning due to the high praise it received on the skin care reddit, I was wary of the price (found myself tempted by the other cheaper options on amazon), and all of the warnings posted everywhere online about how Vitamin C is too unstable and expires too quickly for it to be worth the money unless you make it yourself, use a specific combination, etc., etc. As someone who has no time to make my own products, nor the patience for when DIY potition-concocting inevitably goes wrong, I decided to take the plunge and buy the product after months of it taunting me on my wish list. I'm happy to say that results were visible for me in just a few days, applying only nightly. I've been using the product for a couple of weeks now, and the texture of my skin (combination, acneic, large pores), is completely changing. I suffered from intense hormonal acne and PIH last year, as well as some scarring on my cheeks. This product is helping clear up the PIH and evening out skin tone, even around the scarred areas (though the scars of course remain, it is helping the skin look better overall). Delivery was prompt and there were no problems with the packaging. I've been keeping the bottle stored on a cool and dark shelf away from sunlight, inside the original box it came in, as an extra precaution against sun damage (lol). If you have sensitive skin like me, I would just recommend reducing the application to 1x daily or 1x every other day when you feel your skin drying out. Overall, I would 100% recommend the serum for people with texture/tone issues, perhaps even acne. I will try to upload photos once I get the chance.
