Review: Nice value and easy to install - The backup sensor works as expected. The red mostly matches the color of the bumper on my 2004 F350 and looks good. I recommend using a Unibit instead of the hole cutter included with the kit. Hole cutters are not all that great at cutting steel. Use a Q-tip and some primer to treat the bare metal after the holes are drilled. Once the primer dries, use some touchup paint if you feel the need. For power, I just tapped the reverse light harness. As an added measure against the sensors falling out of the bumper, just apply some clear silicone on the backside (not seen) of the bumper to help hold the sensors in place. Note - if you are buying this for a very long vehicle, the cord to the monitor will not reach the dash. My F350 is a Crewcab Long Bed so it is close to 22ft long. I ended up mounting the monitor under the rear seat. The visual warning can’t be seen but the chime still works fine. No big deal. I wouldnt call this a defect since the cord is plenty long for most cars.
Review: Works great... - Color was very close to my 2012 honda accord... installation was easy and works great. I also installed backup camera and with this sensors... now backing up is easier and safer.
