The main cymbals are exactly what you would expect though, with nice stick definition, shimmer, and wash but without a ton of overtones. The bell on the Ride is amazing, although strangely enough I found I get more "ping" volume from the bell with the tip of my sticks rather than the shoulder (as I had to use on my Sabian AAX and Zildjian K rides). These cymbals are also very dynamic; you can play them lightly or really lay into them, and boy do they project when you do. The finish is simply gorgeous, and for this price, I am very pleased compared to similar sets from Sabian or Zildjian that I was considering for much more money. I have owned both Zildjian and Sabian top of the line. These cymbals sound awesome. For the price I would not trade them for anything.
