Box Contains 1 x container of paint Review: Lovely paint - I have been researching what is best for exterior furniture and according to people opinion oil paint is more durable outside than water based oil so that was the reason I tried this oil paint.First I put the white oil primer and the next day this lovely paint.Only with one coat looks fabulous even though is applied on white primer.I took a tin with 2.5l so I have lots more paint which I will apply later.So far the tin came in perfect condition thank you for that.Paint is not too tick ,not too watery perfect.Easy to apply and outside doesn’t stink that much.Not dripping too much so not wasted too much but how good is the paint only the time will show.I am hoping it will last more but only time will tell.We love the colour.Suits perfect on my new furnitures. Review: Very good - Goes on great on wood and metal. I used the gloss white on some wood outside a few years ago and it is still good. I've used this on both wood and metal and been pleased. Way better than rustoleum although not sure this is suitable for over rust. But good consistency. Rustoleum was like water. Can take a few days to dry fully. I waited for 36 hours already (it is above 10^ outside) and the paint isn't hard at all. Only very thin upper layer is.** A: Hi, My paint dried within the time specified (my exterior woodwork had dried within 8 hours). If it remains wet after 36 hours then it could be because the underlying wood was not dry. **Q: Is this ideal for livingroom doors/frames and skirting boards?** A: Hello, this is a gloss paint for exterior wood and metal. We would suggest using Johnstone's Interior Quick Dry Gloss for your living room doors/frames and skirting boards as it is quick drying and non-yellowing. Thanks** A: Yes but be mindful of all H&S measures and radiator turned off until fully cured **Q: How long does this paint need to dry - we live in NE Scotland and tying to find a window good weather long enough to dry paint can be challenging!!** A: From my experience this is a relatively slow drier i.e. it stays tacky for quite a while, but gives a great even finish. It's strengths are smooth coverage, an easy to work with but might be thought of as a bit 'drippy' on the brush when compared to products like Dulux. That last fact might be in your favour in cooler temperatures, where paint can sometimes get too thick in 10 degrees C and below. . Only knocking 1 star off because it is absolutely nothing like the colour sample on the tin at all! In reality it is a very very vivid bright post box red! And it takes several days to dry. But other than that it is a good paint.
