The sugar level is so high, it is too sweet! The mint chocolate flavour is awful, the caramel is a bit better. But it is too sweet for those severe GERD/LPR person even to swallow it. Review: Would Recommend - My Gastrointestinal Specialist recommended these to me to help with heartburn and they really do help! I have not noticed any bad side effects. They aren’t much more money than over the counter meds but they are much more natural than a lot of meds out there. The individual packets make it easy to take with me and use wherever I’m at. The two flavors aren’t bad either. ## Features - Works to safeguard the throat & esophagus by creating a protective barrier. - NO known side effects. Created by world expert reflux surgeons to protect you from reflux, and an iconic chef who knows what it is to suffer. **Q: How do the Rescue products work?** A: Our Rescue products create an all-natural gel-like alginate (or seaweed-based) barrier that floats on top of your stomach contents to physically block reflux from occurring. (Check out the video on our listing of this occurring INSIDE the body!) **Q: When do I take Reflux Gourmet’s Rescue?** A: The most common times for reflux are after meals and at night, so after meals and before bed is best, but it may be taken any time. If you consume our Rescue products around food, it should be taken last so that it can sit on top of the food. **Q: Are there any side effects?** A: There are no known side effects. There is nothing in our formula that is not in your cupboard right now. Review our ingredients label and rejoice! Our products are made entirely from ingredients considered safe in children and during pregnancy. **Q: Is it suitable for long term use?** A: Yes! Our products may be used as much or as little as needed, whenever you need them, for as long as you need them. And because our products do not alter the way your body functions, there is no risk of dependence, rebound reflux, or side effects. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Reflux Gourmet is expensive *by T***N on 13 July 2025* It is not suitable for me, but I cannot return it. Whenever I feel reflux coming on, I take some (guessing at the amount), and it eliminates or at least reduces the sensation. And it actually tastes good. I get the tube for home and the little packets for travel. ## Frequently Bought Together - REFLUX GOURMET Natural Heartburn Acid Reflux Relief Support Supplement for GERD, LPR, Indigestion, Aid for Intermittent Fasting, Alginate Therapy, Single Serve 25 Pack, Mint Chocolate/Vanilla Caramel - Reflux Gourmet Berry Soothe Gum Alginate Therapy Sodium Bicarbonate Gum for Acid Reflux, Oral, Cognitive, and Digestive Support, Natural with Ginger, Celeriac and Aloe, Sugar Free, Gluten Free, Vegan - RefluxRaft Acid Reflux Therapy PM with Organic Alginate & Melatonin, Rapid & Lasting Gerd, LPR & Digestion Symptom Support, Zero Sugar, Gluten Free, Midnight Berry, 47 Gel Servings, 8 OZ Bottle --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/723001541-reflux-gourmet-singe-serve-rescue-pack-25-vanilla-caramel-rescue](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/723001541-reflux-gourmet-singe-serve-rescue-pack-25-vanilla-caramel-rescue) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
