Our local stores didn't have hardboard placemats, so I was so glad these were sold at desertcart. They are a nice size and thickness. They also have a cork backing. So far, these are holding up to daily use. I have found that anything spilled on them wipes right off with a damp sponge. There are so many hardboard placemats made by Pimpernel that it is hard to choose among all the pretty designs. They are a wonderful value for the money, and I am so glad to have them at our table.

These are beautiful and well made. I am happy to find them. Sorry that I had to find them here rather than in a store in my neighborhood but that's life these days. Pimpernel makes great products and I am glad they are still in business. We bought some of these 45 years ago and they were finally chipped and worn out. Super happy to find these now.
