Also would I have to scuff up the paint?** A: I used loctite construction adhesive and 16 gauge brads or a small finish nail. As far as the preconstruction wall. I would wash the wall in advance. I put a quick coat of dark paint down to help in the event there was any showthrough. But if your wall is already painted a color that wouldn’t look bad behind the wood you can start putting up the planks after the washed wall is dry. **Q: How much would I need for a 6x4 space** A: that is 24 square feet….so you will need to buy 3 orders of 10 sq ft **Q: Would these work on a concrete/cinder block wall?
