A: The bell is 9" in diameter. Overall height is 7". The chamber that holds the tablets is a bit over 3" in diameter an a bit over 6" tall.It will easily hold 5 of the big (3") chlorine tabs.

**Q: can you use 1inch chlorine tablets in it**
A: Yes, you can use 1" tablets in it.  You can stack up to 3 of them if needed.

**Q: From the picture it looks as though the lenses of the sunglasses would glow in the dark-- do they?**
A: No. But still really cute! looks have held up very well in our Texas sun!
