I had a project requiring a dozen or so of these fans (40mm). I used these for a CPAP hose dryer for my elderly father and it worked great. Fans are quiet, albeit not very powerful. They are really good for a low air volume application such as a 3D print filament dryer. Id give this 5 stars if it has a slightly higher rpm and longer cord
