That constant use at night was burning through phones and hurting batteries. This is our cheap solution! Not the fastest tablet, but it works great, has a head phone jack, and the battery can last a whole night even unplugged. All for a tenth the price of a high end phone. Wouldn't recommend this for games, but it's fine for videos and YouTube and stuff once the updates are all done. Oh, and you MUST learn how to "close all" to save battery. It's swipe from the bottom BUT stop a third the way up the screen abruptly.
