It also is reasonably priced. My wife has enjoyed using it so far. Review: Great Excercise Cycle! - Well Made, very sturdy, should last a long time. Smooth operation and stays in place, does NOT slide while using it. Like all exercise cycles of this type, the tension adjustment doesn't do much but you still get a good workout, works the legs (arms too) and an excellent cardio work out. I also used in as therapy for an arthritis flare up in the knee. Nice size display, easy to see it while using. You can read, watch TV, listen to podcasts/music while exercising, easy to fit in exercise in anyone's schedule. I have had and worn out several cycles in the past but this one is the best yet! I highly recommend it. ## Features - ALL-IN-ONE CARDIO STATION: You don’t have to switch among various cardio stations with the Marcy Mini Cycle. After 6 months or more is it still okay operationally and mechanically?** A: About every 3 weeks I had to increase the adjustment knob about one-quarter turn clockwise (CW). So I realized that the friction belt was gradually sretching. After about the first 6 months I had finally reached the CW limit of adjustment. Thus, it then became necessary for me to go inside the machine and retention the belt via its plastic cam-lock. I have since learned to avoid belt stretch by relieving belt tension after each use by turning the adjustment knob CCW until there is practically no resistance. The downside is that now each time I want to use the machine I must reset its resistance to my desired level, which takes but 5-10 secs. **Q: How quiet is it? Does it slip around on the carpet? How high is it when the pedal is at the highest?** A: It doesn't make additional noises other than the sound of the pedals turning, so it's pretty quiet, and on the level of "white noise." You can't hear it at the same time as a fan. It doesn't slip much with the anti skid pads in place, but I put extra padding under it. I don't know how tall it is, but at my height, I had to really focus to keep my knees from banging on my desk and I'm 5'8", if that helps. **Q: Is it bi-directional? Meaning, do the pedals turn in the opposite direction?** A: Yes it does. **Q: what is the weight limit for this product** A: There is no weight limit because it is placed on the floor in front of you ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So Far, So Good :-) *by J***N on September 25, 2026* This pedal exerciser was easy to assemble and is solidly built. It also is reasonably priced. My wife has enjoyed using it so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Excercise Cycle! *by G***R on September 24, 2025* Well Made, very sturdy, should last a long time. Smooth operation and stays in place, does NOT slide while using it. Like all exercise cycles of this type, the tension adjustment doesn't do much but you still get a good workout, works the legs (arms too) and an excellent cardio work out. Im sure most people picked up some weight over the pandemic. I wish i would have ordered this during the pandemic so that i could be at my goal by now. Im far from overweight, im 5'4 and 125 lbs but Im using this machine to tone up my lower body. I am self employed and work from home so i have lots of free time to use this. I often get charlie horses after sitting too long that start at my ankles so this will help that. I also fall asleep on the couch sitting up which results in my ankles swelling. Last night, i tried this for the first time and it reduced the swelling. I only did 150 pedals but considering i never exercise i felt the burning in the back of my thighs. Again, dont judge me LOL! My goal is to use this every night while watching tv and gradually increase the number of pedals biweekly. Many reviews complained about the resistance in the machine. You have to adjust the belt UNDER the machine then turn the knob UNDER THE SCREEN until you cant turn it anymore. You cant just turn the knob and expect it to be at its highest setting. After every use you should reset the belt and knob. This machine isnt for someone who is very active and exercise at a gym on a regular basis. Its great for elderly people, as an at home physical therapy alternative, and for the couch potato who never exercises. If you are expecting more out of this then buy an actual bike. I noticed that most of the other machines had straps to insert your feet inside of when pedaling. Many also stated that those straps didnt adjust therefore users with large feet couldnt use the machine. This machine doesnt have the straps and i didnt have any slips when using. This machine was also placed on carpet that also has an area rug and the machine stayed in place the entire use. You will need 1 AAA battery to start the screen and it is NOT included. It's amazing the number of people who complained about the battery not being included. Take the battery out of your tv remote and get busy exercising. It's simple! Who doesnt have a AAA battery in their home in 2022? I was very pleased with the product and it went beyond my expectations considering the many negative reviews. I also researched which brand of Amazon machine was the best and this brand was on many website articles Top Ten list. The price was also way less than advertised on those articles so that was an even bigger bonus. ## Frequently Bought Together - Marcy Under Desk Mini Pedal Leg and Arm Exercise Cycle with Adjustable Magnetic Resistance Physical Therapy Leg Exercisers - Snailax Massage Seat Cushion - Back Massager with Heat, 6 Vibration Massage Nodes & 2 Heat Levels, Massage Chair Pad for Home Office Chair，Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/7152337-marcy-under-desk-pedal-exerciser-portable-mini-bike-cycle-legs](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/7152337-marcy-under-desk-pedal-exerciser-portable-mini-bike-cycle-legs) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
