Tumella developed this inverted travel umbrella to limit its risk of flipping. With 9 sturdy ribs, a high-quality canopy, and a flip-resistant design, this large umbrella (46") won't let you down in the next downpour. - CLEVER REVERSE-FOLDING DESIGN TO KEEP YOU AND SURFACES DRY: Thanks to its inverted design, this travel umbrella folds the wet canopy inward, preventing water trails from forming. No more worries about raindrops leaking onto your carpet, furniture, or car seat. The reverse folding mechanism also makes this compact umbrella stronger than others on the market. - LARGE COVERAGE [46"] AND COMPACT FOLD [12.2"]: Small—only 12.2" when folded—but mighty in protecting you from rain and storms. This compact umbrella easily fits in your bag or purse while offering ample protection for you and your loved ones when the heavens open up. - SUPERIOR STURDINESS, BACKED FOR LIFE Unlike typical umbrellas for rain with only 6 to 9 weak aluminum or resin-reinforced ribs, Tumella features 9 fiberglass ribs designed with cutting-edge ultra-flex 2024 technology. This advanced design allows this umbrella large to bend under heavy winds while maintaining its shape and full functionality. Built to withstand the harshest weather, it could be the last umbrella you'll ever need. - VIBRANT 360° DESIGNS AND ELEGANT COLORS – PERFECT AS A GIFT: Whether you prefer striking patterns or refined, subtle tones, our umbrellas provide both flair and sophistication. What is the difference between a regular and a reverse folding umbrella?** A: The key difference is how the canopy folds. A regular umbrella folds outwards, exposing the wet side. A reverse-folding umbrella folds inwards, containing the moisture inside and preventing drips when closed. **Q: 2. Is Tumella a windproof umbrella?** A: Yes, Tumella is both windproof and flipproof. Its reinforced fiberglass frame and ribs make it resistant to wind and flipping. This enhanced stability is further supported by the reverse folding canopy design. **Q: 3. Why would I choose Tumella?** A: Choose Tumella once and enjoy it for a lifetime. It offers superior strength and wind resistance, has a no-drip design, offers full sun protection, and comes with an auto open/close button for easy operation. **Q: 4. What does flip-proof mean?** A: While most umbrellas can flip inside out under certain conditions, this umbrella is built to reduce the chance of that happening. And if it does flip, it easily returns to its original shape without any damage. **Q: 5. Why is this umbrella 'large but compact'?** A: Tumella's reverse umbrella has a large coverage of 46", but only measures 12.2 inches when folded. Weighing less than 1 lb, it is a compact and portable umbrella to take with you. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/714586423-flip-proof-inverted-travel-umbrella-small-strong-but-light-portable](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/714586423-flip-proof-inverted-travel-umbrella-small-strong-but-light-portable) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
