A: Month numbers so you know when to replace

**Q: is this filter good for EA8298 Krups expresso machine?**
A: I expect so. I have an EA84 series and it uses the filters

**Q: should the filter be removed when performing the cleaning cycle and using the cleaning tablets?**
A: No, absolutely not! You need it to filter any particulate. Suggest you run a 2nd cleaning cycle w/o cleaning tablets so you get a full flush. Works well for me. Added thought, use the least oily, driest beans you can find to avoid needing to have the grinder mechanism cleaned.

**Q: How does this filter install and how often you have to get a new one?**
A: It installs in the water tank and is very simple to do. I make quite a bit of coffee and replace the filter about every 3 or 4 months.
