The trip switch was extremely handy, and to be honest is the reason I bought this adaptor. I purchased an electric griddle to cook on, and we took our air fryer (Camping purists, *please* don't start..) and the electric griddle trips my electric at home, annoying - yes, but once the switch is turned back on it's fine. This worked absolutely brilliantly, and to be honest, actually didn't trip as much as at home. The 3 plug sockets is plenty, especially if you take another extension lead for phone charging etc, although I'm pleased to say that that wasn't a priority during the week. All in all this adaptor was brilliant and I would absolutely recommend it, especially for the price, I do feel like I've picked up a bargain.
