We're really enjoying trying a different flavor every few evenings. Yes, we're popcorn addicts, no apologies! Nice set, very giftable. So far my favorite is probably the 'small white' - small and more crunchy with just a slight sweetness compared to yellow corn. Even the ones that weren't immediate favorites grew on us after a few bites so there really are no duds. There's a small bag of each 'flavor' and I'm using a flip-over popper, the kind where the clear lid becomes the bowl when you turn it over after popping. For two of us, I'm using half of a small bag which I'd guesstimate to be about 1/3 cup (about two ounces of kernels). So this 8-pack will get us 16 batches of yummy popcorn. Good pick for a popcorn lover's gift. Review: Best popcorn ever - Best tasking popcorn! Bought for siblings for Christmas and now they can’t eat store bought popcorn. It’s light and airy and the flavors are beyond fresh. Far better than any store bought or movie popcorn. Several people who normally don’t like popcorn loved this kind! Will buy again. ## Features - STOVETOP POPPING SAMPLER PACK - Not sure which popcorn to go with? I don't understand why there are different types if they taste the same.** A: Taste may vary based on topping and popping method. Popcorn pops in different sizes and some are crunchier than others. And, the amount of hulls varies by variety. **Q: Do you really need a special container for popping it in the microwave?** A: No, you can use a microwave safe container/bowl to pop popcorn in a microwave. You will just want to have a container that has a lid on it so you don't make a mess in the microwave. We have several people that use a glass bowl with a lid to pop their popcorn in their microwave. **Q: Can these kernels be popped in silicone, microwave bowls?** A: Yes. That is what I use. Instructions advise power level 7 or 8 for microwaves over 1000 watt. I have found that 5 works best for me. This is really good corn! **Q: can someone tell what this different 'flavors' are?** A: List in the 4 oz Variety Pack of 10 are: Mushroom, Purple, Extra Large Caramel Type, Red, Baby White, Medium Yellow, Rainbow, Ladyfinger, Blue, Medium White. For details about each "flavor" go to the Amish Country Popcorn website. It's really interesting. This pack was a great way to discover our favorite, which so far is Mushroom because the popped corn is like a big puffy ball that melts in the mouth. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Popcorn night is fun! *by N***E on 3 May 2023* Bought this as a birthday gift and it was a hit. (Many people in attendance are gluten intolerant, as are their families (inherited), and so this is the perfect auction item for this crowd at the church fundraiser.) ## Frequently Bought Together - Amish Country Popcorn | 8-4 oz Bags | Stovetop Popping Sampler Pack with Canola Oil and BallPark ButterSalt | Old Fashioned, Non-GMO and Gluten Free (Stovetop Sampler - 8-4 oz Bags) - Kernel Season's Popcorn Seasoning Mini Jars Variety Pack, 0.9 Ounce (Pack of 8) - Presto Poplite Hot Air Popcorn Popper, 18 Cups, Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/710670272-8-4-oz-bags-amish-country-variety-popcorn-gift-set](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/710670272-8-4-oz-bags-amish-country-variety-popcorn-gift-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
