I am a woman and referee soccer with it. It fits fine on 2 of my fingers. It would fit a teenager. Not sure if younger. **Q: Does the adjustable finger grip extend enough to place over hockey gloves?** A: Nope **Q: can just the whistle be replaced? I have a fox40 whistle and am looking for just the finger grip.** A: I may be wrong but I can see no obvious way to separate the whistle from the finger grip. **Q: Is there a smaller version? The one I ordered is way too big, so will be prone to falling off.** A: Sorry - this is the only size. Regards, ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Whistle *by on Reviewed in the United States June 27, 2026* This whistle is THE best. It stays on your fingers which is so much easier than finding the one hanging from your neck. Not to mention the whistle is so loud, that the kids I reffed said “that’s loud” on kickoff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ must have for football officials *by on Reviewed in the United States August 7, 2024* As a Line Judge / Head Linesman, I have a whistle on a lanyard to adjudicate false starts and encroachment. However, immediately upon the snap, I drop the lanyard whistle from my mouth to avoid the dreaded inadvertent whistle. When the ball is dead by rule, it's way to slow to find the lanyard whistle, put it back into my mouth, and blow it. Sometimes it takes as long as 1.5 to 2 seconds, which could result in late hits, etc. So the finger whistle is awesome for stopping the play immediately. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great *by on Reviewed in the United States August 11, 2025* Good price for product.
