Review: Disney miniature book - the art of the lion king - good - I didn't realize it was the "miniature" book when I was ordering, of course I was surprised and disappointed when I received the package, but it was my fault. Make no mistake, this is a beautiful book, you get all the artworks from the normal edition, but no text on the making of the movie - because of the size, they've done a good job since it is such a small book bringing all the artwork and it has text explaining the story. It's an art book combined with storybook. Definitely want the gigantic book for the complete experience.
Review: Great Book - I love this book. It has lots of beautiful art that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. It doesn't have many actual words in it though, mostly image captions, but it doesn't bother me. I usually feel overwhelmed with everything the typical art books try to throw at you. I think it is an excellent book with a lovely cover and I would highly recommend it for any Lion King fan.

I didn't realize it was the "miniature" book when I was ordering, of course I was surprised and disappointed when I received the package, but it was my fault. Make no mistake, this is a beautiful book, you get all the artworks from the normal edition, but no text on the making of the movie - because of the size, they've done a good job since it is such a small book bringing all the artwork and it has text explaining the story. It's an art book combined with storybook. Definitely want the gigantic book for the complete experience.

I love this book. It has lots of beautiful art that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. It doesn't have many actual words in it though, mostly image captions, but it doesn't bother me.
