Even though they're quite different, they are both delicious! These from Saudi Arabia are firmly vacuum packed dates IN date juice. Because they are mushed and pressed all together, it's more like getting large chunks, and with all the date juice they are so sweet. If you have a sweet tooth but want to give up on the candy that's bad for you, these are an excellent substitute. Btw, they do have pits, but it's not a big deal and easy to separate.
