Would the few extra volts damage the lights?** A: To play it safe I'd wire in a resistor to drop my voltage to be within the posted operational range the manufacturer lists for these lights. It is rather easy to do and you can figure out what resistors to buy mathematically. The information on how to do this is all over the net, so acquiring it is as simple as a quick Google search. **Q: Would these lights work well for scene lighting?
