My coworkers all believe it may be a bit long. I do not. We all joke that it is my kidney tickler because of its dainty appearance and length and is know as Mr. Stabby. This thing is excellent at cutting string. Probably should mention that I work in a garden center and use this a lot right now while bagging and tieing down Christmas trees. I probably use this for a lot of things it isn't meant for but I truly do love this knife. I have used this for about 2 years and have had to replace a single piece that I knocked loose when trying to cut through elephant ear plants at work. The husband made me a new piece out of a piece of a garden staple we used in our landscaping. Since owning the knife wehave had to occasionally tighten the blade screw but this thing is either on my belt loop, bouncing around my work bag or in my pocket at all times. I would say this has some nice durability. That being said I did bend the tip when I attempted to use it as a screw driver but was able to fix that when we sharpened it recently. As a woman who probably doesn't use this stiletto, as I have been informed it is called, as it was meant, I love this. It works in everything I have needed it for. It is fairly lightweight and I like the feel of it in my hand. I think it flips open and closed very smoothly and I can get it open with a small flick of my wrist as long as my sleeve isn't in the way. The ease at which I can flip it open makes a few guys at work uncomfortable and I am totally okay with that. I did include a picture of the piece we replaced. Also a video opening and closing it. That's my left hand.
