My washer was starting to stink a bit after washes and it needed a good cleaning. I hadn’t cleaned it in probably 6 months and was using afresh before. I ran the first tablet and took out my pet hair filter, and it was still all gunked up (you can see the before picture) but I ran a cloth on the inside and did the clean cycle one more time and it came almost perfectly clean(see the after picture). I was able to wipe the remaining gunk out easily and my washer smells so much better!
