Purchased a Kato M1 set and wanted another locomotive. It comes with the Japanese couplers installed and include standard replacements if you have the skill. So, look at the photos US. It is smaller than the engine in the M1..so ignore the 1-star reviews. I was surprised at the detail though the little number plates require installation.
